About Melanie

Melanie has volunteered with Flying Samaritans since June of 2022. Her future career goal is to be a biomedical researcher and to work on making discoveries in the prevention and treatment of diseases. Her favorite clinic memory is watching the kids in the community play with the toys brought for them and seeing how happy they are made by all the little things.

Treasurer Responsibilities

The Treasurer shall handle all financial affairs and budgeting of the organization, maintain all necessary accounting records, and prepare monthly financial reports for the membership. These records shall be maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. The Treasurer shall collect and deposit all dues and fees. The Treasurer shall maintain bank accounts in the organization’s name. The Treasurer shall be responsible for making sure all the necessary supplies are ready for each clinic.
